Terms and Conditions

Tickets won in Powerfest satellites may be used in Powerfest events from Fredag, 9 –Tisdag, 27 only and will expire at the end of the series. Players should only attempt to win tickets they are able to use and must use them where possible. Tickets remaining at the end of the series will be only be converted to T$ or exchanged where all possible opportunities to enter and re-enter have been taken. All other unused tickets will expire and no refund, conversion or exchange will be given. Any scenario not covered by the following terms will be settled according to this principle at the discretion of management.

Generic Powerfest Satellites

  • Tickets from these games are accepted by all Powerfest events at the same buy-in.
  • Multiple tickets can be won but must be used where entry or re-entry is possible.
  • Players should only win tickets they are able to use.
  • If a player holds a number of tickets equal to or below the permitted entries to the final event of that buy in and does not use them all due to elimination after late registration is closed, extra tickets will be converted to T$.
  • If a player holds a number of tickets greater than the permitted entries to the final event of that buy in due to winning them in concurrent satellites and does not use them all due to elimination after late registration is closed and/or maximum possible entries being reached, extra tickets will be converted to T$.
  • “Concurrent satellites” refers to satellites running at the same time. Players who do not already hold an equal or greater number of tickets than the permitted entries to the final event may play concurrent satellites and if they win more than one, all tickets will be eligible for conversion where entry or re-entry was not possible.
  • All other unused tickets will expire, and no refund, conversion or exchange will be given.

Examples:

Player A holds two $109 Powerfest Tickets going into the final $109 event of the series which allows one re-entry. They use one to enter and are eliminated after late registration has closed. They will have their remaining ticket converted to T$.

Player B holds two $109 Powerfest Tickets going into the final $109 event of the series which allows one re-entry. They use one to enter and are eliminated during the late registration period but choose not to re-enter. Their remaining ticket will expire and no refund, conversion or exchange will be given.

Player C holds three $109 Powerfest Tickets won in non-concurrent satellites going into the final $109 event of the series which allows one re-entry. They use one to enter and are eliminated after late registration has closed. They will have one of their remaining tickets converted to T$, the other will expire and no refund, conversion or exchange will be given.

Player D holds three $109 Powerfest Tickets won in non-concurrent satellites going into the final $109 event of the series which allows one re-entry. They use one to enter and eliminated during the late registration period but choose not to re-enter. Their two remaining tickets will expire and no refund, conversion or exchange will be given.

Player E holds one $109 Powerfest Tickets going into the final $109 event of the series which allows one re-entry. They play two satellites running at the same time and win both. Both tickets will be eligible for conversion if re-entry is not possible.

Player F holds two $109 Powerfest Tickets going into the final $109 event of the series which allows one re-entry. They should not enter any further satellites. Any additional tickets won will expire, and no refund, conversion or exchange will be given.

Event-specific Powerfest satellites

  • Tickets from these games are only valid for the specific event and/or flight named where applicable.
  • Multiple tickets can be won up to the maximum number of entries and re-entries available to the target event or flight and must be used for entry or re-entry where possible.
  • Players should only win tickets they are able to use.
  • If a player holds a number of tickets equal to or below the permitted entries to the target event or flight and does not use them all due to elimination after late registration is closed, extra tickets will be converted to T$ or exchanged for a future flight.
  • If a player holds a number of tickets greater than the permitted entries to the target event or flight due to winning them in concurrent satellites and does not use them all due to elimination after late registration is closed and/or maximum possible entries being reached, extra tickets will be converted to T$ or exchanged for a future flight.
  • “Concurrent satellites” refers to satellites running at the same time. Players who do not already hold an equal or greater number of tickets than the permitted entries to the target event or flight may play concurrent satellites and if they win more than one, all tickets will be eligible for conversion or exchange where entry or re-entry was not possible.
  • In multi flight events, players who are eliminated after late registration is closed but do not advance to the next Day or Phase will have their eligible tickets exchanged for tickets to a future flight. Players who advance to the next Day or Phase will have their eligible tickets converted to T$.
  • Players who play satellites after already advancing to the next Day or Phase must use their tickets to enter another flight and attempt to advance with a bigger stack as per our Best Stack Forward terms. These tickets are then subject to the same conversion eligibility criteria as players who have not already advanced to the next Day or Phase.
